Wounded Warrior Veteran Benefit, Friday, May 4th at American Spirit Center

Dear Members,We invite you to attend a benefit for Kyle Moser USMC, a combat wounded marine.  Kyle chose to defend our country, let us honor him by participating in this event sponsored by the Ladies Aux Post 4357.  The benefit will be held this Friday, May 4th, 2012 at the American Spirit Center in Brighton, 10590 E. Grand River.  A Spaghetti dinner is from 5pm to 8pm which costs $8.00.  An evening of performance with two awesome bands will follow from 8pm to 12am. Cost is $5.00 at the door. …See More

BRIGHTON SCHOOL BOARD MEETING LAST NIGHT 4/23/12

MISSION STATEMENT

Our goal is to educate, inform and motivate citizens in our area to get involved in the governing of our country. We are everyday americans who simply want the politicians to STOP the spending, cut taxes, follow the constitution and get government out of our way as we seek life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Our group has adopted the historic Gadseden flag as a symbol of what our group stands for. The words "DONT TREAD ON ME" effectively convey how we feel as freedom loving americans. The rattlesnake is like the american taxpayer. According to Benjamin Franklin, both give generous warning before they strike.
Our founding fathers fought government tyranny with weapons. We will prevail with our vote.


When you do post, please use the following guidelines.

* Does your post inform or educate?
* Hate speech is not acceptable. We can express our disdain for policies without bringing personalities into it.
* Consider those below voting age. Do not use profanity (i.e. Would you say or read it to your child/grandchild?) Many parents are using this site as a teachable moment for their children.
* Verify your facts. We are not about conspiracy theories.
* Do not change font settings when you post.

FYI to all ~ Sending gifts to members has nothing to do with our group. It is a way for Ning to generate money. Although it may seem like a nice gesture, please don't do it.
